I like this book because: of that cover!!! On sale at the library (used book sale) and I had to have it! Lucky me! Beautifully illustrated in an extremely simple and oh-so-clever manner – AND informative! Can hardly wait to share it with my storytime gang!
Resources/Activities: read this other book I found, which must be part of a series: The Gas We Pass, by Shinto Cho (image below), and any other simple books about bodily functions; create a self-portrait body-map by tracing a child on a large piece of newsprint or cardboard and fill in the rest.

What a great find! I love that cover, too. So many interesting facts. Hope you read Jilane Hoffman’s review today about “poo.” Someone left a YouTube video of a Rhino passing gas for a very long time — so funny.

Oh my goodness. I didn’t know these were around. The fart one would have been perfect for my brothers. They used to try doing it in unison. *rolls eyes* LOL

If you ever wonder what to write about, a good place to start is right where you are (I guess): nose holes, gas, stinky feet… why not?

I must look to see what others might be in the series!

My husband got The Gas We Pass for our kids when he was traveling in Asia. Kids want to learn about themselves. Thanks for the heads up about noses!
