No PPBF today – Susanna is busy narrowing down Halloweensie entries (reading them, I got the ‘itch’ to draw). But I’d like to invite you back tomorrow for the start of SteigFEST – a 14-day picture-book-salute to an author-illustrator I very much admire, William Stieg.
Brilliant! I’ll be there . . . er . . . here.

Did you recommend Bunny Days by Tao Nyeu to me? If not, you’ll see why your clothesline crows reminded me of how much I love that book!

Enzo and I love your witches. As I mentioned on Wednesday, your witch sparked a story for Enzo while at the airport. Plus, other passengers heard him ranting about witches, potions and princesses. Lovely!

Love them all! The frogs under her hat were great! I guess she always has one handy to use in a brew…or maybe as witches get older they don’t get brain-fog, but brain-frog?

Oh my. They’re all great, but the one with the hat full of frogs is chilling and thrilling and packed with story potential.
