Obviously strongly influenced by the holiday, but also by the lovely book I read yesterday: A Greyhound of a Girl, by Roddy Doyle (Amulet Books/Abrams, 2012). Might be because I never knew my grandmothers, but I found the story very touching, and reading it was the perfect way to spend my St. Patrick’s Day. “All right, so.”
Love it, Julie! Super talented ye are! (Hope that sounded a little leprechaun-ish)

Nicely done! and you managed to kill two birds with one stone, er, eh, I guess that should be paint two birds with one brush. 🙂

Thank Patricia. Eye is right, the more you really see, the better art you can make – I think that might go for writing as well!

Illustrator gives you crisper lines than PS, which is what I’ve heard – haven’t used PS!

Very nice! Love the quality of the lines and color. I love to stick glass cups to my face, except not my eyes, but my mouth. And I see how long I can hold it by sucking.

I’ve done that many times myself. I’ve tried holding things to my eye, like an empty toilet paper roll with my brow and cheek, like a moniker – doesn’t work well with paper!
